"Liberty City Six" Terror Suspects Convicted

After three months of disrupted deliberations including two mistrials, a Miami jury convicted five men of multiple charges ,and sixth defendant was acquitted on all counts .The six men – Narseal Batiste, Patrick Abraham, Stanley Grant Phanor, Naudimar Herrera, Burson Augustin, and Rothschild Augustine The four charges against the men - conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization - conspiracy to maliciously damage and destroy by means of an explosive- conspiracy to provide material support and resources to terrorists - conspiring to levy war against the Government of the United States Of America .Naudimar Herrera was acquitted on all counts.The five men face fifteen to twenty years in prison on each charge .The Government spent over ten million dollars to convict the terrorists. We may not have heard the last of this case >Defense attorneys are expected to appeal the convictions.
