Grants Pass residents are starting to file for the vacant seats of the five city council members that were recalled this last fall. The election will be this March and so far Lily Morgan ,Jack Greenberg ,Ron Schwartz,Derek Graden, Darin Fowler ,Kris Woodburn,Roy Lindsay,Alan Koebrick & Rick Riker have filed paper-work showing interest in the positions .
In related news Dwight Ellis and Dave Toler decided to pass Sandi Cassanelli over as Chairman/woman of the County Board of Commissioners and have decided that the position should go to Dwight for a second year .
