Time For Change

I want to rant about Obama's policies, and since I have a blog, I will do so. Obama has said repeatedly that he has an economic plan that will deliver us from our crisis, so where is it? Now, considering that Obama's policies have done nothing but fail over the last 4 years, why should I believe in him now?
 {Quote from OBAMA: ‘‘I'll use the money we're no longer spending on war to pay down our debt and put more people back to work — rebuilding roads and bridges, schools and runways. After two wars that have cost us thousands of lives and over a trillion dollars, it’s time to do some nation-building right here at home.’’}
How is this possible? Well, the only way I can figure... is to borrowing less "now" since the war is ending. But "Nation-Building" costs money and ALL of the money we are spending on the war is BORROWED. So, in order to "Nation-Build", Obama will siphon the BORROWED money from China and instead of spending it on our Military, he will BORROW more from China to "Nation-Build". But realize... he still must BORROW to do the ‘‘extra nation-building’’ he envisions. So, what are people not getting?  Obama's economic plan is completely misleading and there is NO-WAY  that America can afford it without China or some other foreign country forking over some dough.

 And then there is the claim on Obama's website that rants and raves how Obama has created some 500,000 manufacturing jobs*. Well the truth is....  that it is  "cherry picking" by the president. From the beginning of Obama’s term almost 4 years ago, manufacturing jobs have declined by more than 500,000, and this is according to the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. Manufacturing jobs have been on a steady decline for nearly two decades, and I hardly call that something worth bragging about. And there is the hype about the 4.5 million private sector jobs that have been created during the Obama administration, yeah the 4.5 million jobs*. Again this figure is extremely misleading, because over 2 million jobs were lost during the recession and during those same 29 months America seen a decline  of 500,000 jobs in the public sector.  I also want to mention that even though the nations unemployment is at 7.8%,  {11.8%  for 18-29 year olds, 9.9% Hispanics, 13.4% for African Americans* }  this number does not take into account that most of these unemployed people have had to pick up second jobs to make ends meet*, or take into account the people who gave up on looking for work. Leading economist have said  "Never since World War II has the economy been so slow to recover all the jobs lost in a downturn." America nothing will get done in the next 4 years if we reelect Obama,  with Romney at least we will see progress, instead of fading "Hope and Change".

Bureau of Labor Statistics " September Unemployment Numbers Hispanics, African-American's"
*According to the BLS Employment Summary For September: 'The number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes referred to as involuntary part-time workers)
rose from 8.0 million in August rose to 8.6 million in September. These individuals were working part time because their hours had been cut back or because they were unable to find a full-time job.' and *Among the marginally attached, There were 802,000 discouraged workers in September, A decline of 235,000 from a year earlier. (These data are not seasonally adjusted.) Discouraged workers are persons not currently looking for work because they believe no jobs are available for them. The remaining 1.7 million persons marginally attached to the labor force in September had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the survey for reasons such as school attendance or family responsibilities.'

The whole picture. "CNN Fact Check About the 4.5 million jobs Obama created: Nonfarm private payrolls hit a post-recession low of 106.8 million that month, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The figure currently stands at 111.3 million as of July.
While that is indeed a gain of 4.5 million, it's only a net gain of 300,000 over the course of the Obama administration to date. The private jobs figure stood at 111 million in January 2009, the month Obama took office.
And total nonfarm payrolls, including government workers, are down from 133.6 million workers at the beginning of 2009 to 133.2 million in July 2012. There's been a net loss of nearly 1 million public-sector jobs since Obama took office, despite a surge in temporary hiring for the 2010 census."
