Citizens from 20 states have filed to secede from the United States, and Oregon is one of them. As of November 12, 2012 over 4,600 signatures have been collected from Oregon alone. In order for the Obama administration to consider the request the petition requires 25,000 signatures. I think that most of the signatures will come from radicals, but...we need a grassroots movement like this in order to be heard. I know that even if one state can gather the signatures required_we could get a response. At least be heard. So if you feel disfranchised by the government, or simply don't like the administration why not give it a shot.So please hurry and sign if you intend to the deadlines are fast approaching.
