Oregon is celebrating its 150th birthday as a State Saturday February 14th 2009. Oregon became a State (the 33rd )on Monday February 14th 1859. I love Oregon and am very proud to live in such a beautiful and culture rich State . Oregon has been a home to many,and most don't even realize the beauty that surrounds us every day . I urge everyone to check out what is outside. ,maybe even organize a cleanup for this momentous occasion ?
