More Troops To Afghanistan

Obama is sending 4,000 more troops to Afghanistan to help with the ongoing problems in that region.This is on top of the 17,000 combat troops that Obama has already approved . This is surely going to tick off some of his supporters who mistook his speeches as anti-war .Deaths of American troops have risen by around 35% in 2008 and sending more troops to Afghanistan is needed to ensure safety of the troops that are serving. Most of the 4,000 troops and trainers will come from 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg . The top U.S generals would still like to see at least 10,000 more troops .
