Republican Women to discuss May 19 election
The Josephine County Republican Women will meet at noon, Thursday at Elmer’s restaurant,
175 N.E. Agness Ave. in Grants Pass. Josephine County Clerk Art Harvey will provide an overview of the May 19 special election. Grants Pass Public Safety Director Joe Henner will discuss a proposed public safety levy. Measure 17-28 is a two-year local option levy of $1.79 per $1,000 of
assessed property value that would pay for Grants Pass police and fire operations. The public is
