Daniel Morrow, a Ashland Oregon resident submitted an initiative to Jackson County to make adult marijuana offenses the lowest priority for law enforcement officials in Jackson County. The initiative would make adult marijuana use the lowest law enforcement priority to County law enforcement, such as the Sheriff's Department and the District Attorney's Office, but not city police departments.
Backers of the initiative like Daniel Morrow must gather signatures from 4,624 votes in Jackson County to get the measure on the ballot.
