It has been a pleasure, and an honor, serving this
community. As such, I am seeking re-election to the
position of Sheriff and ask for your support and vote. It is
my firm belief “trust” is something to be earned; and, that
is a never ending endeavor on my part.
Our county faces, perhaps, the most challenging period in
its history. With crime on the rise, I have remained
steadfast in my resolve to protect this county. Our crippling
fiscal dilemma while extremely problematic hasn’t deterred
me in my efforts.
Even through these turbulent times, we managed to
internally generate $2 million each year, reduce our costs
by hundreds of thousands of dollars, and averaged 2%
under budget since I began in 2007.
Clearly, from adversity comes opportunity. I have applied
that adage by streamlining our operations to reduce
expenses, wherever possible.
My forty years in law enforcement, including fourteen
years as a successful top level administrator have given me
both broad-based experiences and proven ability to adjust
to the constantly shifting challenges and provide innovative
solutions this county needs moving forward.
I support our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
